02 April 2007•Eva and Edgar Zimmer and 13 have taken over Australia and kids from around the country will be able to decide “What Happens Next?” The unique online and on-air animated series has been licensed to the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.
Zimmer Twins ABC is now a part of the RollerCoaster block on ABC TV and ABC2, ABC’s free-to-air digital channel as well as on the channel’s companion website.
“The Zimmer Twins site is a creative hub for kids across Australia who are interested in making their own animated movies and sharing them with their peers. Working with fun and quirky Zimmer Twins narrative, children can take control and determine how their cartoon ends,” says Dan Fill, Head of Development, ABC New Media and Digital Services.
“This simple online tool allows kids to produce broadcast quality content and provides the ABC with unique opportunity to engage with its younger audiences in a truly interactive way.”
